Moldova Premier visits High Tech Park in Minsk

As many as 3,500 new working places were created in the High Tech Park in 2016. The prospective of cooperation and success of Belarus in the IT sector were discussed in the Park together with the Moldavian Premier on June 7, 2017.

Pavel Filip was the Minister of Information Technologies’ before 2016, so it is not surprising that he pays a lot of attention to the IT sector.

The Belarusian High Tech Park has things to offer. It is one of the largest IT clusters in Central and Eastern Europe today. As many as 173 companies are registered there. More than 90% of developed software is sold in 67 countries. Belarus is ahead of the USA, India, Russia, and the Philippines in exporting computer services per capita.
