Partizansky district of Minsk and German Bautzen sign cooperation agreement

The delegation of the German Bautzen district visited the Belarusian capital Minsk on June 2. The guests were received by the administration of the Partizansky district, one of the nine districts of Minsk.

The parties signed agreements on cooperation and agreed on joint projects in the economic and social spheres, trade and education, exchanged experience of doing business.

Denis Kapitan, first deputy head of the administration of Partizansky district:
Representatives of the administration of Partizansky district visited Germany, representatives of the German side visited us too. The result of preliminary work was that we signed an agreement on cooperation.

Michael Harig, Chairman of the Bautzen District Administration (Germany):
The Bautzen district has a very diverse economy, there are enterprises engaged in machine building, chemistry and the food industry. Minsk, and particularly Partizansky district, also has enterprises engaged in such activities, so I hope that contacts between our regions will be successful.
German partners also visited a number of innovative industries, visited the business incubator and appreciated the innovations of Minsk Tractor Works (MTZ).
