Maksim Petkevich, promising kickboxer from Belarus, wins tournament in China

The World Muay Thai Championship has ended in Minsk and it was immediately followed by a kickboxing tournament in China, where the Belarusian fighter, Maksim Petkevich, surprised not only the local audience, but the whole world.

Born in Osipovichi, Petkevich, 21, is already one of the best in his age group. He has recently returned from the EM Legend tournament in China, where he won in the final against the reigning champion.

His coach, Mikhail Stepanov, says Petkevich is going to become a world-class master and he is not afraid of anything. “When a person does not experience fear, he will achieve much,” Stepanov added.

In the EM Legend final in China, Petkevich knocked out the Thai fighter who was the title holder of the tournament.

Petkevich says he dreams of becoming the best fighter in the world and is not going to rest on laurels.
