Venezuela ready to expand assemblage of Belarusian tractors

Venezuela is ready to expand the line assembling Belarusian tractors, said Minister of Industry of the Bolivarian Republic visiting MTZ May 31.

Juán Arias got acquainted with new samples of agricultural machinery, as well as forest machinery, which Venezuela today needs badly.

Juán Arias, Minister of Basic Industry of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela:
At the moment, we are developing a new strategy for cooperation, including financial cooperation, to overcome the problems that exist today. I am sure that our cooperation will be very long and productive.

Fedor Domotenko, MTZ director general:
All the equipment that Venezuela needs was demonstrated today; it is available. We have received concrete economic proposals, including on our further cooperation in tractor assembly. I think that in the near future we will study the subject and the MTZ delegation will fly to Venezuela with its proposals.

Belarusian tractors have been assembled in Venezuela for several years. MTZ machinery has proven its reliability and practicality.
