What machinery will Belarus show during 2017 Independence Day parade?

Polonez, armored cars "Caiman" and the best soldiers will take part in the Independence Day parade 2017, which will take place in Belarus' capital Minsk on July 3. The first rehearsal of the parade for the Independence Day was held on May 30 at Lipki airfield. 220 vehicles were involved. It is expected that the legendary T34 will lead the parade.

They will be followed by T-72 tanks, infantry fighting vehicles and self-propelled artillery systems 2S19. "Old guys" will then be replaced by modern samples of Belarusian military industry: armored cars "Caiman", and then truck tractors "Volat". The Polonez anti-missile system will be shown at the parade for the second time in as many years.

The parade will be opened by Suvorov school cadets. They are already rehearsing.

Nikolay Samets, cadet of the Minsk Suvorov Military School:
I have been participating for the second time. There's some excitement. But you always feel pride for your uniform, for your school. And you always go with your head held high.

Alexander Naumenko, head of the Minsk Suvorov Military School:
We started to pick guys for the parade just after New Year in January. We've been actively preparing for a month and a half.
