Belarus interested in multi-faceted cooperation with Thailand

Belarus is interested in multi-faceted cooperation with Thailand. The strengthening of interparliamentary and economic relations with the Kingdom was discusses in the Parliament on May 30, 2017.

Belarus’ export to Thailand increased by 23% in the first quarter. However, the potential possibilities of the commodity circulation are a lot wider. Alexander Lukashenko’s official visit to Thailand may bring the relations of the two countries to a new level. It is planned that President Lukashenko will go on a visit to Thailand in 2018. A Belarus-Thailand business forum is expected to be held in the nearest time.

Belarus exports potash fertilizers to Thailand, and Belarus buys Thai rice and rubber. The future cooperation in mechanic engineering looks promising. I mean exporting Belarusian agricultural equipment to Thailand.

The trade and economic cooperation as a foundation of bilateral cooperation was discussed in the Belarusian Parliament. Belarus’ Vice Premier Vladimir Semashko received the substantial delegation from Thailand. Possible increase in in mutual trade was discussed.
