Swamp walking and rafting: Belarus opens new services for tourists

Walking through swamps, photo hunting and studying the traces of wild animals are among the new recreation services to be offered to tourists in Belarus. This also includes traveling by river on a real raft or watching bison's life.

It is expected that many routes will pass through specially protected areas - national parks and reserves.

In general, in 2016 alone, the number of visitors to such zones has grown more than twofold. The amount of funds received from tourism and paid services amounted to about $200,000.

Novelties in ecological tourism will help attract more tourists to Belarus, as well as foreign investments.
