FBI interested in Belarusian investigators' experience in combating IT theft

The American FBI is interested in the experience of Belarusian investigators. On May 22, Belarus' President Alexander Lukashenko heard out a report from the head of the Investigative Committee.

Ivan Noskevich said the investigative bodies of Belarus are successfully fighting with the so-called carders.

However, often Belarusian Internet thieves steal money from American bank cards, so FBI agents want to get support from Belarusian investigators in the fight against IT theft.

Alexander Lukashenko, Belarus President:
You informed me about contacts with your foreign colleagues. I asked you not to lose relations with the Investigative Committee of Russia, Comrade Bastrykin. He is a very wise, strong man, with whom you can work, a real Russian man. You have established good contacts with others, as far as I understand, including with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) of the United States of America. We need to maintain relations too, because you will constantly intersect. Interpol. They play a significant role there. And, in general, this is an international organization with which we must always maintain relations.

The main indicator of early 2017: the number of reports of crimes has decreased in Belarus.
