Agricultural machinery assembly plant to be opened in Tajikistan

A Belarusian agricultural machinery assembly plant will be opened in Tajikistan. The work on building industrial sites is in process. The progress of the project implementation was discussed by the two sides on May 18, 2017 in Minsk. Tajikistan is actively developing agriculture today. The opening of a joint plant on the territory of Tajikistan will help to shut the internal demand for agricultural machinery.

Belarusian machinery is the most adapted and known in the Republic of Tajikistan. The demand for this machinery is very high.

Leonid Zayats, Agriculture and Food Minister of the Republic of Belarus:
Tajikistan is interested in Belarusian machinery, which has been working for many years on the territory of this country. They are also interested in planting material of early potato varieties, corn seeds, and cereals.

As many as 20 large Belarusian plant representatives are working in Tajikistan today, Besides tractors and trucks, Belarus exports provisions, oil products and medications to Tajikistan. New joint projects are being worked through as well.
