World Bank forecasts GDP growth in Belarus in 2018

The World Bank forecasts GDP growth in Belarus in the coming years. According to WB's studies, the gross domestic product in Belarus will grow by 0.7% in 2018, and then by 1.2% in 2019.

According to experts' conclusion, in early 2017, the country's economy showed some stabilization, due to the growth of export.

Representatives of the World Bank noted a number of positive steps aimed at improving the business environment and shaping the conditions for the emergence of new firms. These measures will help improve the competitiveness of the traditional export sectors of the Belarusian economy, the World Bank said.
