Belarus is counting on fruitful cooperation with the elected leadership of France, the development of bilateral relations and intensive dialogue on a variety of directions.

Pavel Latushko, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the French Republic:
We are waiting for the formation of the new government of France, we are open to negotiations with the new government on the development and expansion of trade and economic cooperation. During the first quarter of 2017, we are noting the overall growth of trade turnover between our countries. The Belarusian exports grew by 170%.

The implementation of a number of major investment projects involving the world famous French companies has expanded. It is important that these examples are multiplied.

We expect that with the new leadership of France, our relations will continue to improve and expand.

Emmanuel Macron is expected to make his first official visit as the President of France. He will meet with the German Chancellor.
