Belarus suffer 0:3 defeat at Switzerland at 2017 IIHF WM

The Belarusian team still does not know the taste of victories at the 2017 World Hockey Championship. Charges of head coach Dave Lewis on May 10 lost to Switzerland, who had only 17 hours of rest after their difficult game against hosts France. 

In each of the three periods, the Alpians scored once for a 3:0 final scoreline.

The opponents beat Kevin Lalande for the first time at the end of the first period. The Swiss made use of man advantage and went in front.

At the end of the second period, they netted again. Ambühl increased the advantage of the Swiss, while a third was added by Almond in the final stanza.

On May 12, Belarus meet hosts France, who are hard to beat this year.
