Minsk may become a meeting place for the implementation of the global Chinese project One Belt, One Road. Almost all companies from China operating in Belarus' market, are registered in the capital, Minsk, which gives a lot of advantages for the development of the main city.

Meanwhile journalists from China continue to get familiar with life and economy of Belarus. On May 4, the foreign reporters are to visit the Museum of the Great Patriotic War and see the opera by Rimsky-Korsakov at the Bolshoi Opera and Ballet Theater.

On May 3, the guests were welcomed at the City Hall. The trade turnover between Minsk and China in 2016 exceeded $1 billion.

Wei Zhongjie, journalist (China):
Our political relations are very good, and the media play a very important role in this progress. Relations between Belarus and China develop in a stable way. They've been developing very dynamically in recent years. Therefore, we are pleased to have the opportunity to visit different businesses.

The Chinese guests have already had tours of various Belarusian machine-building enterprises, visited the industrial park Great Stone and the High-Tech Park. Besides, they tasted sweets and chocolates at a confectionary.
