Exhibition Media in Belarus to open in Minsk on May 3

A hundred information resources from about ten countries will take part in the exhibition "Media in Belarus" which opens in Minsk on May 3. It will feature television channels, radio stations, publishing houses, and news agencies.

Most of the stands will be presented by Belarusians. You will also be able to get acquainted with the outlets from the Union State and Belarusian diasporas abroad.

Information security will be the main topic of the conference, which will be held within the framework of the forum.

Alexander Karlyukevich, Deputy Minister of Information of the Republic of Belarus:
Journalists are active participants in social, social and political processes that take place in our country, and indeed, in other countries. Therefore, the Ministry of Information and the President's Administration understand the need to check whether they are on the same page. We would like to discuss the system of relations, as well as social and political responsibility of a person who works with the word which affects the minds of information consumers.

Belarusian media have prepared presentations for the guests of the forum. The CTV Channel will present special projects and also sports and information programs. Interactive competitions will be part of the program, too.

Chinese media are the exhibition's special guests.
