OSCE PA International Secretariat delegation begins visit to Belarus May 2

The delegation of the International Secretariat of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly begins a four-day visit to Belarus on May 2. Officials from the European Union will get acquainted with the way Minsk prepares for the 26th summer session of the Assembly. It will be held in the Belarus in July.

This is a significant political event. The Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe is the world's largest regional organization dealing with security issues. It unites 57 countries on different continents.

The forum will allow Belarus to prove its decent positions on the international arena.

Boleslav Pirshtuk, deputy chairman of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of Belarus:
Many know the level of development of Belarusian technologies and medicine. The former republics of the USSR are interested in our agriculture, the internal features of doing business when coming to our market.

The summer session of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly in Minsk will focus on strengthening mutual trust and cooperation for peace and prosperity in the region.

In total, about 700 guests will visit Minsk. They are already booking rooms in the eight best hotels in Minsk.
