Belarus earns about $3.5m at 2017 Subbotnik voluntary campaign

Over three million Belarusians took part in the national volunteer working campaign. Thanks to the efforts of Belarusians, Belarus earned about $3.5 million.

Part of the funds - 50% - remains at the disposal of the Ministry of Finance, while 50% remains at the disposal of regional executive committees, which will be spent on improving the material-technical base of technical creativity centers for teenage children, on the reconstruction and restoration of historical and cultural heritage objects, on innovative activity, repairs, restoration, children's recreation and sports and children's camps.

According to the Vice Premier, Subbotnik went well. Earnings from this year's working campaign exceeded the 2016 figures.
