Belarusian-Czech Economic Forum held in Brest: energy and tourism in focus

A new page in Belarus-Czech relations: Brest hosted an economic forum of the two countries. Energy, construction, information technology and tourism are the priority spheres. Equally important are also personal contacts. Knowing it, businessmen of the two countries decided to meet on April 20.

Mikhail Serkov, Deputy Chairman of the Brest Regional Executive Committee:
Apart from tourism we are going to discuss wood processing and food supplies. I hope that we will work together and actively in this direction. Czechs offer high technologies, which is also important and interesting for us.

Frantisek Masopust, Executive Director of the Czech Chamber of Commerce and Industry:
Belarus has a huge supply of high-quality workforce. We know it very well. We try to advise it to our entrepreneurs.

The new contracts and joint projects will become known in the near future. Overall, the forum was attended by representatives of a dozen major Czech companies.
