Alexander Lukashenko will deliver his annual speech to the Belarusian nation and the National Assembly on April 21, 2017. President Lukashenko’s speech will take place during the joint meeting of the House of Representatives and the Council of the Republic of Belarus.
It has been a many-year political tradition.
Every time it’s an analysis of the economic situation in Belarus and in the world, it is a strategy of the country’s development for the nearest time as well.
Lyudmila Makarina-Kibak, Chairperson of the Standing Commission of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus on Healthcare, Physical Culture, Family and Youth Affairs:
I suppose that President Lukashenko will pay his attention to the economic development of Belarus under new geopolitical conditions. Being a doctor and the Chairperson of the Commission on Healthcare
I expect Alexander Lukashenko to give an estimate to the health service development as usual.
Lyudmila Kanonovich, Deputy Chairperson of the Standing Commission of the House of Representatives on Labour and Social Affairs:
We are interested in the issues concerning economy and social development. And in the development of small towns and villages.
Vladimir Semashko, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Belarus:
The whole world is at such a stage today (Belarus is not an exception) when economy is getting out of crisis or out of the following recession. This moment must be used. Belarus needs to return to the markets where it has always been stably working, to strengthen its positions and to get familiar with new markets.
I think that it will be the motive, the main idea of the speech.
Highest-level leaders, members of the parliament, leaders of the government, of major plants and mass media, and diplomats as well have been invited to the Oval Hall.
The address will be broadcasted by the Belarus 1 and Belarus 24 TV channels, and the First National Channel of the Belarusian Radio.
The broadcast will start at 10:00 am.
The TV version of the address will be broadcasted in the evening on Belarusian TV channels.
