From April 18, Russia is to increase oil supplies to Belarus. All in all, in 2017, Belarus will buy 24 million tons of oil. Of this amount, 18 million tons will be delivered for processing at Belarusian oil refineries.
Now the supply of oil will be carried out exclusively by pipeline, whereas previously, one million tons was transported by rail. Because of this, Belarus lost about $70 per ton. Belarus will not anymore be required to supply annually about 1 million tons of high-octane gasoline to Russia.
