Development of political dialogue and successful realization of common initiatives.
A parliamentary delegation from Beijing visited Belarus.
The negotiations were held in the Council of the Republic of Belarus on April 15, 2017. Belarus and China determined the priorities of further cooperation in a range of projects. The Silk Road Economic Belt was at the center of attention and the industrial park Great Stone must become its pearl.
In the last years Belarus and China did not only strengthen their political relations, but economical as well. The current visit of the Chinese delegation to Belarus proves it.
Nearly 30 foreign guests headed by Zhang Dejiang, the Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress,
clearly stated the priorities of further cooperation. The negotiations were so intensive that they lasted for nearly an hour.
Mikhail Myasnikovich, Chairman of the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus:
Attention will be focused on the extension of the political dialogue, the interparliamentary cooperation, the realization of common economic and investment projects.
Zhang Dejiang, Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress (China):
China-Belarus relations are entering a new level We have signed a common cooperation agreement and emphasize the importance of exchanging experience in the legislative sector. It is also necessary to
support each other and enrich the contents of the strategic partnership of China and Belarus.
This is probably the brightest example of Belarus-China cooperation.
New Geely cars were presented to the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus by the Chinese delegation.
These cars are the latest of the technologies and are no worse than German machine assembling.
Mikhail Myasnikovich had a possibility to try out the vehicle.
Zhang Dejiang is the third most important person in China. It is his first visit to Belarus. However, the program of the Chinese delegation is more than ambitious, that’s why three days were dedicated to visiting Belarus. Besides discussing economic and political issues, the delegations laid a wreath to the Victory Monument as a symbol of tribute to Belarus.
Not forgetting the industrial park Great Stone, the pearl of the Silk Road Economic Belt. By the way, a new resident appeared in the park a couple of days ago and the corner stone of a joint Belarusian-Chinese special machinery plant was laid. All in all four Chinese invested plants are being built.
Kirill Rudyi, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus in the People's Republic of China:
A subpark is planned to be established within the industrial park in Belarus. The Guangdong province, which is twined with Minsk region, is the largest supplier of LED product in the world. And they would like to establish their production in Belarus, to export it to the EU.
Another interesting project is being developed. It is a joint creation of robots for putting out fires.
