Oberg: Day of Swedish culture planned in Minsk July 3

The best patrons of Belarus have been named in Minsk. Among them are representatives of large banks, concerns and factories.

Honorary diplomas were received by more than 70 enterprises and organizations.

Thanks to sponsorship, Belarus annually hosts major cultural events such as the Slavic Bazaar in Vitebsk, the Film Festival Listapad and the Festival of National Cultures in Grodno.

We are actively finance various projects. We are constant participants of the restoration of Lubchansky Castle. We have joint projects with the National History Museum.

Martin Oberg, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Sweden to Belarus:
We are planning to hold Day of Sweden in the Old Town in Minsk. On June 3, there will be a concert and a cultural program. We are now translating the last Swedish Nobel Prize laureate in literature into the Belarusian language.

By the way, the market of such cultural investments is only gaining momentum in Belarus over time.

Sponsorship contribution to art in 2016 amounted to about $2.5 million.
