MPs of Belarus and Poland discuss regional cooperation

Cooperation between regions of Belarus and Poland in the economic area has great potential, said the Polish parliamentary group who met with Belarusian colleagues on April 13.

The Polish delegation is visiting Belarus and have already inspected several joint ventures in the Grodno region. All in all, 350 joint ventures with Polish capital operate in Belarus. And this number is growing.

Adam Andruszkiewicz, chairman of the Belarusian-Polish parliamentary group, member of the Polish Sejm:
We visited the most advanced Polish-Belarusian enterprises in Navahrudak and Lida district. And we saw that they work fine. We discussed all the issues in the economic sphere. We hope that our cooperation will continue to grow at the same pace.

Andrey Naumovich, MP of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus:
In Navahrudak region, we visited a metalware factory. At present, this company is going to attract Polish investments. I hope, we will succeed and after a certain period of time we will come and see this company in a new light.

The amount of Polish investments in Belarus is about 350 million euros. The Belarus-Poland bilateral trade is approaching one billion.
