Cosmonaut Oleg Novitsky congratulates Belarusians on Cosmonautics Day

Cosmonautics Day was celebrated on April 12. 56 years ago, the first cosmonaut Yuri Gagarin uttered his legendary "Let's go!" It was a successful space debut.

Belarus announced its presence in space for the first time in 2012. Back then it launched its earth remote sensing device. Four years later, in 2016, the Belarusian communications satellite went into orbit from the Chinese cosmodrome Xichang.

The conquest of outer space is a complex task. This applies to both technology and man. Belarusians Piotr Klimuk, Vladimir Kovalyonok and Oleg Novitsky are among those who celebrate a professional holiday. The cosmonaut sent congratulations to all the earthmen.

By the way, on April 12, at 20:12, those who have binoculars could literally see the International Space Station, where Oleg Novitsky is working. Space lovers had only three minutes to admire the ISS.
