Alexander Lukashenko extends condolences to President and people of Egypt

The number of victims of the terrorist attacks in Egypt continues to grow. By this time, the list of victims includes about fifty people, more than a hundred are wounded.

The country was shaken by a series of terrorist attacks. Two explosions with a difference of a few hours thundered in Tanta. Terrorists attacked a Christian church, was later attacked another one.

As reported, there are no Belarusian citizens among those killed and injured. Egypt has tightened measures to protect the borders. Police are assisted by military guard units. The state of emergency has been declared. The country has declared three days of mourning.

Belarus leader Alexander Lukashenko has offered condolences to the President and the people of Egypt. The Belarusian President stressed that the event confirms the need for a strong and solidary resistance to radical groups and their ideology.
