Belarusian authorities on new methods of work with people's appeals

New approaches to work with citizens and tight involvement of local authorities in solving problems. These topics were discussed April 5 at a session of the Belarus Presidential Administration. At present, this work in Belarus is well established.

Personal contacts and direct telephone Q&A sessions are the main methods. Some problems are solved quickly.

However, new approaches to work should be found.

Natalia Kochanova, Head of the Presidential Administration of the Republic of Belarus:
This system in our country has been developed. We have the Law "On citizens' appeals", according to which the national and local authorities are working on this topic. We have reception days on personal matters and hold direct Q&A sessions.

But, at the same time, today, in every region and in every townб there may be other methods and forms of work with local citizens.

Firstly, we need outreach and advisory work.

Private receptions and direct telephone lines were conducted in all regions of Belarus. Such a dialogue helps talk about the problems more specifically. Among the most popular topics are housing construction and employment.
