The March 25 protest in Minsk could turn into a tragedy. KGB officers have received timely information about the planned provocation during the unsanctioned rally.
KGB noticed a passenger car parked on March 23 near the Academy of Sciences.
The man who drove the car to this place is now known.
This is a 32-year-old resident of Minsk Sergey Kuntsevich. In the car, law enforcement officers found megaphones, wires, a microphone and a cardboard box with dozens of bottles filled with liquid smelling of fuel mixture and wicks made from rags.
As it became known, Sergey Kuntcevich is a supporter of the Belarusian National Congress, which was established by Nikolai Statkevich.
The detainee had repeatedly been brought to criminal and administrative liability.
Now he is in a temporary detention facility.
