Igor Kriushenko appointed Belarus national football team manager

Igor Kriushenko has become manager of the national football team of Belarus. This decision was taken at the Executive Committee meeting held on 22 March by the Belarusian Football Federation (ABFF).

Earlier Kriushenko was caretaker manager after the resignation of the previous head coach Alexander Khatskevich under whom Belarus did not get a successful start in the WC 2018 qualification gaining only 2 points in four matches.

Also, the ABFF meeting decided that Grodno will be the venue for the Belarusian Cup 2017.

Sergei Rumas, chairman of the ABFF:
We look forward to the reconstruction of the Dinamo stadium. Work is on schedule. Our representatives visited UEFA, where they received technical support for the project of the new stadium. In November, together with the mayor of the capital, we got familiar with the architectural solutions of FC Legia's stadium. And within a month we expect good news about the national football stadium.

Finally, the public was presented with a new logo of Belarusbank for the national football championship. According to Sergei Rumas, green lines symbolize the desire to win, and the red dots picture players on the pitch.
