Belarusian into top 50 at Sony World Photography Awards 2017

The Belarusian photographer Tatiana Tsyganova is among the 50 best portrait photographers, according to Sony World Photography Awards 2017.

About the contest
I knew that the competition of such a scale leaves me very small chances in principle. In late January, I received a letter from the organization in which they congratulated me and said that I was in the top 50.

I have already received several offers from foreign magazines devoted to photography, where I could publish my works and articles.

About competition
I had a period when I was engaged in wedding photography. I cannot say that the competition was that high, that I lacked clients. I've always had enough of them. In the field of wedding photographing, there is always a kind of price gradation. And the photographer of every price category will find a customer.

About photographs
Color determines very much. With color, you can even completely change a person's appearance. And this person will not even know.

About emotions in photos
First of all, I'm interested in emotions. I try to catch emotions. It might interest me the most. If I have two models: one very beautiful and the second with usual appearance, but being able to work very well with emotions and face, then I will focus on the second model.
