Irina Kostevich appointed Belarus' Minister of Labour and Social Security

The Belarus head of state has made a number of appointments. On March 14, he picked a new Minister of Labour and Social Protection. Irina Kostevich assumed the post.

Earlier Mrs Kostevich served as deputy minister of economy. The social protection ministry now faces a number of tasks: in particular, to ensure a high level of employment and Belarusians' income growth.

Today Alexander Lukashenko also appointed directors general of a number of companies in the oil industry complex. Alexander Demidov will head JSC Naftan, Mozyr Oil Refinery will be headed by Vitaly Pavlov, while Oleg Pochinok will manage JSC Gomeltransneft Druzhba. 

Alexander Lukshanko also agreed to appoint Igor Buzovsky head of the Tsentralnyi district administration of Minsk.
