Over 4,000 tourists visit Belarus after one month of visa-free regime

Over the 30 days of the visa-free regime in Belarus, more than 4,200 foreigners visited the country. Most often visitors were Germans - about 700 people. Among the leaders also Poles, Italians, French, British and Americans.

The new order of entry to Belarus came into force on 12 February. Foreigners can visit Belarus for five days for free, but only if they arrive via Minsk National Airport.

Visa requirements were dropped for citizens of 80 countries, including all the EU member states, Brazil, Indonesia, the USA, Japan and others.
