Belarus and Russia intend to develop an algorithm of interaction on current migration issues.
First of all, it concerns the law-enforcement and border agencies, stated today the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Belarus. In the near future, the sides will hold a meeting of the interstate interdepartmental working group.
Dmitry Mironchik, Belarusian Foreign Ministry spokesman:
Naturally, we are ready to discuss the counter-questions, which might arise from the Russian side in connection with the decree number 8, which established a visa-free entry to Belarus for five days for citizens of some states. On our part, there is willingness to accept Russian colleagues and discuss the hot topics with them.
The next meeting of the working group is planned and is carried out by mutual initiative. Currently, the program agenda and activities are being agreed.
On March 10, the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs will discuss the results of the ministry's work in 2016. Traditionally, the board will pay great attention to foreign economic activities, especially exports.
