Strengthening of mutual trust and cooperation for peace and prosperity in the region will be the main leitmotif of the 26th Annual Session of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly. The OSCE PA session will be held in Minsk from 5 to 9 July.
This will be the first time Belarus has hosted an even of such a scale. On March 1, at the first meeting of the organizing committee to prepare for the session, the participants identified a number of problems.
In the short term, it is necessary to refurbish the key meeting rooms in accordance with the requirements of the OSCE. The program will be finalized on 15-17 March during the visit to Belarus of the President of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly.

The event of this level will be held in Belarus for the first time. It will improve Belarus' role in world politics and security, the development of political dialogue with parliamentarians of other countries, open new opportunities to promote the national interests of Belarus and expand trade and economic cooperation.
It is expected that about 700 delegates from 57 countries will partake in the forthcoming session of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly. They plan to discuss political, economic, security and other issues.
