Liudas Rumbutis has been officially appointed as Belarus U21 national football team coach.
Rumors about this went around for two weeks and on February 28 the executive committee of ABFF officially appointed him for the post.
Rumbutis, born in Lithuania, played for Dinamo Minsk from 1976 to 1986 and won the title of the USSR champion.
After playing career, he stayed in Belarus and managed many domestic clubs.
It is already known that Rumbutis will hold friendlies with Latvia U21 and Lithuania U21 in March.
