Belarusian Anton Smolski wins bronze at Biathlon Junior World Championships

The Belarusian biathlete Anton Smolski has won a bronze medal at the Biathlon Junior World Championships in Slovakia's Osrblie, the press service of the Belarusian biathlon federation reports.

In the 12.5 km pursuit with four shooting ranges, he missed five times, but thanks to good speed he was able to stay in the top three, 27.4 seconds behind the winner.

Russian Igor Malinovsky won the race with the result of 32 minutes. 39.8 sec. and four penalties.

Silver went to Norwegian biathlete Sindre Pettersen (+13.0 sec.; 5).
