500 tourists visit Belarus in first four days of visa-free regime

About 500 foreigners have visited Belarus without obtaining a visa since February 12 when the visa-free entry was introduced.

Most guests came from Germany and Poland - about 80 tourists from each country.

Almost 50 Italians have also expressed interest in Belarus. Among other nations are Lithuanians, French and English.

Since February 12, foreigners from 80 countries (the EU, Brazil, USA, Japan and others) can visit Belarus without visas, but only through National Airport Minsk and only for five days. In the future, Belarus may extend this time up to 14 days.
