Days of Minsk will be held in Belgrade. Their preparation is already underway. This will be another step towards the friendly Belarusian-Serbian cooperation. Belarusians will bring to the Serbian capital not only a large-scale cultural program, but also business proposals as a number of business meetings are scheduled. The main goal is further increase in trade turnover between the two countries.
Veljko Kovacevic, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Serbia to the Republic of Belarus:
We as nations are cooperating very well. There are no obstacles. There are no prohibited areas for cooperation. But we want our fraternal peoples to know each other better so that more Serbs arrive in Belarus, and more Belarusians come to Serbia.
On February 9, the head of the government of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, expressed gratitude to the President of Belarus for cordial hospitality towards the Serbian delegation in Minsk. He also thanked Alexander Lukashenko for what Belarus is doing to Serbia in the international arena.
