Hard times have hit both private and public enterprises, said President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko at a meeting with public representatives of Belarusian and foreign mass media.
The President said that he personally controls the state of affairs at such industrial giants as MTZ, MAZ, Gomselmash, BMZ and compares with what is happening at privatized firms such as Amkodor.
Alexander Lukashenko, President of Belarus:
Hard times hit equally private and public enterprises. Almost the same thing. However, Amkodor wins the speed of implementation of projects. Look! A year has passed and they have a new manufacturing plant. So it is all being done faster. But still the same problems... Not enough working capital for them.
