Belarus knocked out of IHF World Men's Handball Championship 2017

The Belarusian national men's handball team were defeated in the last 16 of the IHF World Men's Handball Championship and were eliminated from the tournament.

Coach Yuri Shevtsov’s Belarus met Sweden and did not have a chance in the match.

The Belarusians were not able to impose any serious fight and by the second half the advantage of the Tre Cronor was already the impressive 13 points. The score at the end of the game was 41:22 in favor of the Swedes.

Belarusians’ best striker was traditionally Artsem Karalek, with seven points on his tally.
