President Lukashenko congratulates Orthodox Christians on Christmas

Nativity is one of the greatest holidays for Orthodox. On January 6, Belarusian churches held festive divine services in order to spread the news about the appearance of the savior under the first star in the sky. This day is considered a turning point in human history and the beginning of the chronology of our era.

Everyone strives to fill it with faith and hope, mercy and goodness at every Christmas.

In his Christmas greeting the President of Belarus on January 7 said that this holiday brings Belarusians joy, fills the heart with love for others and the desire to make the world a better place.

"Let the festive mood of Christmas days be an inexhaustible source of spiritual strength for labor, creativity and communication with loved ones. We will strive for harmony and understanding, we will look for what unites us and work together for the benefit of native Belarus," said Alexander Lukashenko.
