Minsk is ready to become a large-scale discussion platform during the summer session of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly. On December 22, this matter was discussed at a meeting of Belarusian MPs with the OSCE delegation.
It is planned that Minsk will host about 700 participants from 56 countries.
Deputy Chairman of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly Kent Härstedt also noted that this large-scale forum is an opportunity to work and consolidate new contacts. According to Mr Härstedt, Belarus and the OSCE have already established excellent cooperation on a number of other areas, in addition on election issues.
