Belarus, OSCE interested in open dialogue

Belarus and the OSCE are interested in the most open and effective dialogue. The visit of the OSCE delegation to Belarus continues.

On December 22, representatives of the Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights, as well as the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly will hold talks with MPs of the House of Representatives of Belarus' National Assembly.

The sides will consider the possibility of constructive cooperation, including on election issues.

The discussion about the electoral processes will be based on the ODIHR's final report on the 2016 parliamentary campaign in Belarus. The document notes the effective organization of the elections and a number of positive changes, as well as includes some recommendations.
