Chairman of the Minsk Oblast Executive Committee Semyon Shapiro met with the Speaker of the House of Representatives of the Parliament of Malaysia.
The sides noted that the relations in all spheres between Belarus and Malaysia should develop more actively, including between regions.
The guests were told about the economic and trade opportunities of the Minsk region.
Plans to deepen cooperation involve agriculture, machine building, education and tourism.

The main export item of Belarus in Malaysia is potash fertilizers, which is worth $84 million out of the total export of $86 million. During the visit, we will work on expanding the range of exports of Belarusian goods to Malaysia, because that country needs agricultural machinery, a wide range of products that Belarus can also offer.
