The main goal is to increase trade turnover between the two countries to $700 million. The current visit of the business circles of Azerbaijan will be a step towards the implementation of the arrangements achieved by the two heads of state.
Representatives of Azerbaijan will negotiate with various ministries in Belarus and visit a number of enterprises and a logistics center.
Shahin Mustafayev, Minister of Economic Development of Azerbaijan:
We are interested in development of relations in the industrial sector. There are prospects to create a joint production facility in Azerbaijan - a medicine manufacturing plant. We are very serious about this issue. There are further areas of cooperation: agriculture and other sectors.
