The program of cooperation was signed by Belarus and the Eurasian Development Bank in March 2016. The agreement provides for the allocation of $2 billion. The funds will be provided in seven parts.

As of December 2016, Belarus has received two tranches: $500 million and $300 million.

Vladimir Amarin, Minister of Finance of the Republic of Belarus:
This week we will take part in a meeting of the Board of the Eurasian Development Bank. Before January 2017, the advisory council of the Eurasian Fund of Stabilization and Development Fund and its Council will convene. At these two events they may consider the allocation of tranches. We certainly hope that a positive decision will be made.
