Belarus and the United States are stepping up cooperation in the areas of finance and investment, high technology, agriculture and energy. Such agreements were reached during the visit of a Belarusian delegation to the United States.
The delegation was composed of the deputy head of the Presidential Administration of Belarus Nikolai Snopkov, Presidential Aide Vsevolod Yanchevsky, representatives of the National Bank, the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Economy and other ministries.
The Belarusian delegation held talks with a number of key US government agencies: the State Department, the Department of Commerce, the Federal Communications Commission, the Department of Agriculture and others.
The meetings have shown the willingness of the sides to bring the US-Belarusian relations in economy and investment to a new, higher level.
