Belarus and Poland intend to develop cooperation in the field of public health, said December 6 the Marshal of the Polish Senate during his visit to the National Center for Pediatric Oncology in Borovlyany.
There Stanisław Karczewski got acquainted with the work of the medical staff and offices and also visited young patients. For them the Polish delegation prepared gifts.
The Scientific and Practical Center of Pediatric Oncology already has experience of cooperation with Polish colleagues. With the help of foreign partners the center built 2 boarding houses - kind of hotels where parents of the sick children can live.

It is a beautiful facility, it provides treatment at a wonderful world level. Also, we talked with Mr Minister, about Polish-Belarusian cross-border cooperation, including in the clinical field.

Cooperation is mainly reflected in the exchange of experience and internships. European medical equipment is supplied to some of our hospitals. We agreed that our cooperation would be more constructive and effective.
