Stanisław Karczewski glad Belarusian students travel to Poland and vice versa

Exchange of students between Belarus and Poland can be increased. The Polish Senate Marshal Stanisław Karczewski visited December 6 the Belarusian State University.

The foreign guest came to talk with the students of the Faculty of Philology, at which students have for several decades studying the Polish language. During this time, the BSU has established good contacts with many foreign universities.

Every year, about one hundred employees travel to Poland as part of scientific exchange and internship programs.

Stanisław Karczewski, Marshal of the Senate of the Republic of Poland:
For us relations with Belarus in all directions are very important. Especially in the field of science. To prove this the senators yesterday ratified the agreement on cooperation in education. The agreement allows the exchange of young people, students, academics, which is very important. I am glad that students travel to Poland and vice versa. I hope this cooperation will be further developed.

Maria Kokhno, student of the philological faculty of the Belarusian State University:
We are fairly well-prepared. We get internships almost every year. We usually travel in groups.

Kirill Chichelis, student of the philological faculty of the Belarusian State University:
We have quite a lot of practice in Polish, Polish professors come for lectures to us, and we ourselves travel to Poland.
