Belarus and Poland have agreed to hold annual forums of regions. They also plan to carry out research projects in the field of nano- and biotechnologies and cooperate in the field of education. This is the result of the first day of talks between the parliamentary delegations of Poland and Belarus.
The Polish delegation is headed by the Marshal of the Senate. Yesterday, Stanisław Karczewski held a series of meetings with Belarus' leadership. On December 6, his visit will continue. The Marshal will go to the Belarusian State University to speak with students and teachers of the Faculty of Philology.
Mr Karczewski will also visit the Centre of Pediatric Oncology in Borovlyany. On the cultural side, the delegation will be offered an excursion to the Nesvizh Castle complex.
