BelSoyuzPechat newspaper stalls in Belarus will radically change their appearance in the coming years. Small stalls will be replaced by large shopping pavilions. Such transformation has been already carried out in Minsk and now this will be done across the country.
New shopping pavilions are warm and convenient: you can not only buy a periodical or a book but also have a cup of coffee and access the Internet via wi-fi.
A special electronic system will help you track the sale of newspapers, journals and related products.
This will make BelSoyuzPechat more efficient and increase turnover, which eventually benefits buyers.
Lilia Ananich, Minister of Information of the Republic of Belarus:
I think we will manage to complete this program to refurbish our BelSoyuzPechat stalls. We will introduce this appearance in all regions. In Mogilev, Vitebsk, Grodno and Brest. The press, books will be made more affordable to the public. We will first of all develop such facilities in new neighborhoods.
