Polish parliamentary delegation arrives in Minsk December 4

Belarus and Poland are ready to discuss a large block of economic issues, including the increase in turnover by about 30%,

the embassy of Poland in Belarus told CTV.by announcing the arrival in Minsk of the Marshal of the Polish Senate.

The parliamentary delegation from Warsaw arrived December 4 at the invitation of the Council of the Republic. It will attend a meeting of the upper house of the Belarus parliament. A number of other meetings is also scheduled.

The parties see great potential for cooperation in all directions.

During the visit, the Deputy Prime Minister of Poland in Minsk will be trying to make everything possible to increase trade. After the first half of 2016, according to the National Statistics Committee, Poland is the third largest trade partner of Belarus in terms of turnover. Here we see great opportunities.

There is a chance to hit a turnover of $3 billion from the present $3 billion in the coming years.

The delegation from Poland will stay in the country for a few days.

Despite the budy schedule, the delegation are going to visit the Museum-Reserve "Nesvizh Castle".

In Minsk, preparing the legal framework for closer cooperation in the field of education, the guests will visit the Belarusian State University, where the Polish language is studied at one of the departments.
